Can you offer some help?
Havant Dynamo Youth Theatre relies heavily on the work of its volunteers to both support productions and to fulfil wider roles to help the running of the company.
In recent times, HDYT has been experiencing a shortage of people coming forward to help, especially in the busy periods leading up to, during and after the shows produced.
We are now looking for volunteers from both parents, friends and family to work with our existing helpers to support the activities of the group. We would like to ask you if you, or your friends and family, would be able to contribute some time towards our current and future productions.
There are opportunities to help across all areas – from publicity and front of house during performances to set design and construction. This also includes set painting, costumes, props and, hair and makeup for productions.
We will create a list of groups of people across the different areas who can be called on when required. We would not demand involvement with every show, just commitment to provide some help.
Many of you who are current parents will also remember that you completed a form earlier in 2016, stating which areas you could offer some help. These will be used to initially create the list of helpers.
We have a forthcoming show “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” in early January 2016, and it would be great if you could help.
